I really enjoyed this with Salers and Amaro delle Terme. Definitely needs a large ice cube as it gets far too tame when diluted. I would actually think it would be more enjoyable up in a Nick and Nora.

Beautifully complex. I had to sub 1/3oz campari, and 1/3oz ginger liquor, and I did 1oz canned pineapple juice as mine wasn't very flavorful. I'm shocked how well everything works together.

This is a really nice balance of flavors. Not overpoweringly smokey, just enough sweetness, and a little floral pop from the elderflower. This has made my shortlist!

2:1 is also superior to 1:1, as it has a substantially longer shelf life.

I wish there was a little more volume in the final pour as the wash line is a bit low on my nick and nora, but I'm hesitant to adjust the recipe for as it stands is nicely balanced. Surprised at how nicely the absinthe plays in this.

Nothing special, very one note. Has a time and a place, but I'd reach for something a bit more interesting.

Great on a warm evening. The Campari cuts through the ice with a pleasant bitter. Substantially better than your typical frozen margarita.

I actually prefer my Coronas to be ever so slightly skunked.

Made this with Averna and Grand Marnier and it was wonderfully balanced and complex. Would love to try with ingredients as written some day.

I really enjoyed this, but I think it's even better leaning on the original and adding back in the absinthe, angostura, and luxardo instead of the orange bitters. Wonderfully complex meld.

This drink is easily lengthened with Fever Tree sparkling pink grapefruit soda. Fills a saucer perfectly. Recipe does not mention the beautiful pink hue of the drink!
