1 12 fl oz Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal
12 fl oz Chilli liqueur
34 fl oz Strucchi Bianco Vermouth chilled
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of chili slice.

How to make:

  1. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  2. STRAIN into chilled glass.

45ml (1½oz) El Silencio Mezcal
15ml (½oz) Ancho Reyes Verde Chile Liqueur
22.5ml (¾oz) Yzaguirre Blanco Riserva Vermouth

It's a long journey from the original Old Fashioned to this cocktail. But we can be thankful to the travelers who brought us here. A wonderfully balanced and simple yet complex drink.

Very nice. The Bianco Vermouth works well with the Mezcal and Ancho Reyes Liqueur. Initially a touch sweet but the chile heat builds. I am glad it’s not called a Martini!
