Ingredients:
1 12 oz Hayman's Old Tom Gin
1 oz Espresso coffee (freshly brewed & hot)
23 oz Galliano Espresso Coffee liqueur
2 drop Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist and 3 coffee beans.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Express lemon zest twist over the cocktail and discard.
  6. Garnish with 3 coffee beans floated in a petal formation in the centre of the cocktail's foamy head.

Review:

This gin-based Espresso Martini works with dry gin but makes a more austere cocktail. Old tom gin sits more harmoniously with the coffee. Depending on personal taste, you may want to add a half to a full barspoon of sugar syrup (2:1) to this recipe.
